Vintage Boys White Cotton School Shirt & Tie 1950S 28" Chest RED "RFD" Monogram

Description

Boy’s vintage 1950s white cotton long-sleeved school shirt with four-button front, button-down collar, and front pocket with the initials "RCD” in red.
It is 17” long with a 28” chest and has a 13” sleeve from shoulder to cuff. The blue, red, green, and white striped cotton tie is 35” long and 2 1/8” wide and in excellent condition. The shirt is stained as shown but structurally in excellent condition.
Incidentally, this shirt belonged to a man whose family reportedly invented the zipper, thus many of the children's  items from this estate have zippers in them. This was only pass-down info, not verified.
