    Description

    Hello,
Up for auction are 2 crawl space fans.  I used these for about 6 months before replacing them with another type of system.  These worked great though.  What is nice about them is they are DC fans, which generally use less power.  These have a 3 year warranty and based on the date code on them, they are still covered under warranty.  No issues or concerns with them, simply don't need them.  225 CFM, includes 2 fans and 2 cords.  Good luck!  Below is the manufacturer's description and more can be found online about them.  These are typically only sold through distributors and I am a licensed HVAC contractor.
The Pipe Fan is designed to mount on a joist inside an attic or crawl space. The fan is compatible for use in conjunction with ducting. As a result, airflow is directed to otherwise inaccessible areas. The fan addresses “dead” spaces in the crawl space or attic by increasing air flow to areas that would not otherwise get ventilation from intake and exhaust fans. This often happens in homes where decks, porches or garages create “dead” corners in the crawl space or where attics are separated.
    Attic Ventilation
The Pipe Fan is one component of the
    ATMOX System
    . In an attic, the
    APEX Controller
and attic fans work to control moisture and heat reduction through attic ventilation. However, the
    ATMOX setup
is not just a set of venting fans in your attic space. It’s a smart solution using decades of research and science to bring the best system to your attic. In addition, ATMOX is adaptable to different attics that may vary by construction or climate. In many regions attic spaces tend to be very hot during the summer months. Attic temperatures can actually be extremely high. This hot air may cause damage to roof shingles and lead to an overuse of HVAC systems. With use of the APEX Controller and fans, your attic will benefit from heat reduction.
In the winter months, the outside air is generally drier. However, attics are still at risk for moisture issues. These issues can lead to issues of mold or wood rot. The warm moist air that forms inside the living space escapes to the attic. If that moisture gets trapped in the attic, it can lead to moisture on the cold surfaces. Also, in areas with heavy snowfall, ice dam issues can lead to major moisture and water damage. The
    ATMOX APEX Controller
has an optional Snow Mode to assist with ice dam mitigation by removing warm air from the attic.
While there are climate differences throughout the regions of the US, your attic will benefit from the
    ATMOX system
    . Our

    Powering Fans
    With the
    ATMOX controls,
    a
    low voltage 12V DC wire
gets power to the fans. This means that the setup of all components (not including a dehumidifier) will run from one electrical outlet. This allows for a simple installation, and it minimizes or eliminates the need for an electrician at the installation.
    An
    AC Adapter
powers these fans in a standard outlet. In this setup, the crawl space fans will run continuously.

    3-year limited product warranty
