Description

Authentic 1940s novelty print shirt of skiiers and stylized trees, with a folksy cross-stitch theme in a pixellated print. Has a point lapel, buttoned cuffs, and a square hem. There are flat-felled seams for durability. This shirt was a restoration project - see Condition Detail below.

Restored to its current wearable condition, has 4-5 random brown/gray spots to front, slightly noticeable, and a smattering of extremely faint beige age dapples to left torso, underside of right sleeve forearm has a 6 x 1/2-inch repaired tear with complementary fabric neatly patching it, 3-4 similar patches in 1/2-inch size and smaller along back of waist and one at forearm sleeve, an old rewoven repair at upper back right sleeve, overall has a wabi-sabi effect, nothing is obvious when worn
Washing Instructions
Cold hand wash, shape and dry until damp, press on medium-high setting
*bust, waist & hip measurements are the maximum inches that will fit the item (and not actual fabric widths), so your body measurements should match these or be slightly smaller
*to get actual fabric widths of garment, add two inches to the bust measurement listed, one inch to the waist, and two inches to the hip
